Mine For Real.......

I was given and ARC from the author in return for an honest review.

This book is the continuation to the phenomenal breakthrough book Real. Before I read the book Real I wasn't sure if this book was going to be for me and wow how wrong was I. I fell in love with the story, the characters and most importantly Remington Tate! A man who has a heart so big that nothing in the world will stop him from loving and protecting what is his or as he refers to... "Mine"

Well, this book is no exception....This book took my breath away! I tried to pace myself with reading this book so it wouldn't end, no such luck..I couldn't control myself I had to read this every spare minute that I had.

The story picks up where Real left off with Brooke Dumas and Remington (Remy) Tate coming back together after being broken up for a couple of months. As Remy describes Brooke she is his kryptonite! His heart, his reason for living, his breath, his world. Could you die if your man told you that every day. As Remy tells Brooke "I'm the realest "f... ing thing your ever going to have" and how does Brooke respond to that "All I ever wanted was to be yours. You were my Real" Get the picture....I got chills at some of the things that Remy said and did to Brooke. Really, really good chills!

Of course this book has some action too with Remy vowing and promising to fight and beat that creep Scorpion after he lost the championship in the first book. Remy's black periods that he suffers from come back to torment him again, but through it all Brooke stands by her man helping him get back to blue with so much unconditional love it makes your heart ache for Remy. Nora, Brooke's sister is back in this book with her antics and of course we cannot forget Remy's brothers Pete and Riley. There are a few parts in the book that I had to laugh at the way Remy talks to them it was classic, and most importantly there is a surprise that Remy gives Brooke that is so unexpected and so special that I cannot spoil this for the readers.

What really took my breath away was the love that these two Brooke and Remy feel for each other. The way that they have to smell and scent each other, lick and groom and breath each other, I know it sounds weird but it is so not written to be weird in any way, you just get it when you are reading the book. And the song "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls is back in this book also, one of Remy's favorite "Brooke" songs cannot forget how important that song is to Remy. Like Remy says "Love her to pieces" and you will love this book to pieces too. It is such a wonderful story of two people who love each heart and soul with no reserves.

I am looking forward to Remy's POV which I belive will be coming out sometime in November and to reading future books from this author.

My Remy

I was given a copy of the book by the author for an honest review.

I will first start out by saying that once again Katy Evans has yet another winner on her hands and I am being truly honest here not because I was fortunate enough to read this book prior to it's release date.

In the world of books you have your fantasy characters that are either your pretend boyfriend/husband or girlfriend/wife depending on what your into...anyway, there is Christian Grey, Gideon Cross, Kellen Kyle and then there is Remington Tate. OMG, yes ladies this book is everything and more that you would expect of Remy's POV.

This book is of course Remy's version of the relationship between himself and the love of his life Brooke Dumas. Remy's side of the story is so moving and heartfelt that there were times while reading the book that I went back and re-read the lines of the book just to visualize him saying these things to me personally. I can't help it but I just love this man and his warmth, sincerity, kindness and above all how he loves Brooke.

The book does repeat what happens in Real and Mine along with current time but you have to remember that you are reading Remy's side now, not Brooke's so you have to go in with a blank mind ( I know your probably thinking is she kidding..)but you'll see it's like your reading a whole new book which of course you really are.

Katy really does a wonderful job with Remy's POV and if you weren't totally head over heals in love with him after Mine you will be with this book so put it to bed because there is no fighting it!
